Cleveland Gun Intelligence Center Opens in Spring
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A planned law enforcement hub in Cleveland aimed at curbing violent crime is expected to launch sometime in the spring, the director of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Friday.
The agency’s leader, Steve Dettelbach, said the Crime Gun Intelligence Center is a few months away from opening and touted the data-driven approach to curbing violence. He made the statements in a speech at the City Club of Cleveland.
